About the Team

This is an exciting time to come and join the Digital Team tasked with implementing a Digital Transformation for Southern Health to support the New Dunedin Hospital.

About the Role

As the PMO Manager you will be involved in the establishment and management of a Digital PMO to support the Southern DHB Digital Transformation.

This role will see you establishing and maintaining a PMO office :

to establish programmes templates and processes, using the MSP methodology

to provide the programme assurance, monitoring, risk / issue management, and reporting

the management of the programme budgets and resource allocation

collaboration with the programme leadership to define, prioritise, and schedule projects

to provide leadership to the PMO team, which will include : financial and benefits analysts, programme administrative support, procurement, and recruitment capabilities.

About You

You will have broad experience in PMO management and delivery (ideally in Digital Capital Projects) with a proven track record of delivering programmes on time and within budget.

Skills required :

10+ years broad experience in project delivery, monitoring and reporting in large / complex environments

Strong project management experience and experience setting up PMO

Strong ability to communicate and work effectively with people at all levels.

Experience in developing and implementing monitoring and reporting systems

Experience in project and programme methodology, in particular, MSP

Working knowledge of Portfolio or Programme Management would be an advantage

Proven qualitative / quantitative analysis skills
