  • About the Team

    This is an exciting time to come and join the Digital Team tasked with implementing a Digital Transformation for Southern Health to support the New Dunedin Hospital.

    About the Role

    As the PMO Manager you will be involved in the establishment and management of a Digital PMO to support the Southern DHB Digital Transformation.

    This role will see you establishing and maintaining a PMO office :

  • to establish programmes templates and processes, using the MSP methodology
  • to provide the programme assurance, monitoring, risk / issue management, and reporting
  • the management of the programme budgets and resource allocation
  • collaboration with the programme leadership to define, prioritise, and schedule projects
  • to provide leadership to the PMO team, which will include : financial and benefits analysts, programme administrative support, procurement, and recruitment capabilities.

    About You

    You will have broad experience in PMO management and delivery (ideally in Digital Capital Projects) with a proven track record of delivering programmes on time and within budget.

    Skills required :

  • 10+ years broad experience in project delivery, monitoring and reporting in large / complex environments
  • Strong project management experience and experience setting up PMO
  • Strong ability to communicate and work effectively with people at all levels.
  • Experience in developing and implementing monitoring and reporting systems
  • Experience in project and programme methodology, in particular, MSP
  • Working knowledge of Portfolio or Programme Management would be an advantage
  • Proven qualitative / quantitative analysis skills
