Applicantsmust be fluent speakers of Te Reo Māori, have an advanced knowledge of tikanga andmātauranga Māori as this is a total immersion programme.

TeWānanga o Aotearoa has embraced the demands and challenges that Covid-19 has presented.

Wewant you if you are energetic, motivated, computer savvy, determined andpassionate to teach using Mātauranga Māori methodologies to facilitate thelearning of our keen and eager tauira.

We are currently delivering ourprogrammes using our online systems and platforms and will move to a blendedstyle of learning as alert level changes allow.

Youwill have access to our awesome support networks - management, student support,and IT to name a few. These services will assist you to support our tauira tothrive in their transformational, educational learning journeys.

Applicantswill have a minimum of :

  • Diploma (Level 5) qualification in te reoMāori or higher
  • Either attest equivalence for NZQAstandards required to assess and moderate this
  • programme OR hold the NZ Certificate inAssessment Practice (L4)
  • NZ Certificate in Adult Tertiary Teaching (Level 5) or equivalent
  • A full clean driver’s licence
  • Available to work evenings and weekends
