What you will doProvide, operate and maintain 'best practice' health and safety processes & systems for Defence Estate Construction, Planned Maintenance Programme and Facility Management activities, across regional camps and bases.
Lead and provide investigative support to serious incidents and ensure that learning's are communicated and implemented to reduce harm in the work place.
What we needExperience within health & safety and first-hand knowledge of safety management; either within facilities or the construction industry.
You will have in-depth knowledge of contemporary NZ workplace safety legislation and regulatory requirements, along with a working knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Building Act 2004, The Resource Management Act 1991 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.

Your relevant qualifications in health & safety and project management will set you up for success in this position, as will qualifications and experience in causal investigations.
