ACC is increasing its investment in injury prevention and implementing an ambitious Injury Prevention Strategy.ACC’s vision is to create a unique partnership with every New Zealander, improving their quality of life by minimising the incidence and impact of injury.
ACC is shifting the ways we work with New Zealanders to deliver meaningful support and guidance in the prevention, care and recovery from injury.
Within this, ACC's Injury Prevention Programmes are part of inter-agency efforts that are making great progress in reducing New Zealand's injury rate.
As a Delivery Lead in the Violence Injury Prevention team you will support the design, development and delivery of projects and initiatives.
This role works closely with the Injury Prevention Partner to ensure that our programmes are on track and value adding. You will also work collaboratively with the wider IP team to identify other relevant programmes of work and will be able to successfully reach out to identified target groups.
You will have experience of developing and delivering projects and will have a knack with translating complex information into an easily understandable format.
You will also have excellent relationship management skills and will have a collaborative working style.The Violence Injury Prevention team focuses on reducing the incidence of suicide, family violence injuries, and sexual violence injuries.
As such, you will be working in and around information that addresses these topics and incidences on a daily basis. Please consider this and your ability to work safely with this subject matter prior to lodging an application.
What we are looking for from you to be successful in this role : Experience within family and sexual violence prevention or related content is requiredExperience of working collaboratively to support the design of effective, sustainable programmes that will reduce the incidence and / or severity of sexual violence and other violence injuriesExperience of interacting with diverse stakeholders at different levelsAbility to write and tailor business reports according to your audienceUnderstanding of best practice project management and implementation practicesAbility to identify target groups through root cause analysisTo view the position description please click Delivery Lead Position Description.
