Te Puna Pāpori, the School of Social Sciences, invites applications for a confirmation path position as Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Tōrakapū, the Politics Programme.
The successful candidate will teach papers related to their expertise. Politics at Otago has a strong postgraduate research culture, and you will also be expected to undertake the supervision of student research.
Aotearoa / New Zealand politics; comparative politics, and international relations.
Your skills and experience
Applicants should hold, or be close to completing, a doctoral degree.
Candidates with a capacity to teach Māori Politics are encouraged to apply. A familiarity with kaupapa Māori methodology is an advantage.
An ability to teach into other areas of politics including one or more of the following would also be an advantage :
