The Team : What we do
The CDHB Infection Prevention and Control Serviceis currently recruiting for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamicteam with a lot of interesting professional opportunities for the rightcandidate.
In this role, you would provide advice on infectionprevention and control measures to ensure the safety of patients, staff andvisitors to CDHB facilities.
You will guide and support CDHB staff in clinicalareas, laboratories and maintenance and engineering to implement appropriateIPC practices in their work areas to minimise risk of infection transmission.
In addition, you would collaborate closely withCommunity and Public Health and contribute IPC specialty knowledge andexpertise to the Canterbury Regional Isolation and Quarantine facilities andcommunity home isolation supporting kiwis during their stay in the isolation.
The Role : Whereyou fit in
You will be given the opportunity to gain knowledgeand expertise across the IPC core business areas of this exciting specialtyincluding : Surveillance, Education, Environmental Management, Reprocessing ofReusable Medical Devices and the Built Environment and Healthcare FacilityDesign.
