  • Put your great modelling skills to good useAbout the roleAs our Commercial & Software Licencing Analyst, you'll report to the Head of Commercial and Performance.
  • This is a newly created role and is a great opportunity for an excel and modelling expert to join a team focussed on providing commercially savvy and robust IT contract solutions for our business.

    You'll be focused on providing insights and analysis on our IT suppliers and software licencing positions, model RFP and new contract outcomes, whilst also providing support with the Procurement, Software Licencing, and Asset Management processes and activities.

    It will include the management of email inboxes and supporting the wider Commercial and Asset Management team with RFP processes and other BAU activities.

    About youAs an experienced IT Analyst, you'll be used to working as part of either a corporate IT environment, or an IT reseller, carrying out price modelling type activities.

    You'll use these skills and apply them to gaining a deeper understanding of the vendor landscape as well as NZ Posts IT infrastructure and future strategy.You'll couple this with

  • Demonstrated experience of complex analysis, assessment and delivery of appropriate recommendations
  • A working knowledge of the procurement process
  • Experience with financial modelling, forecasting & reporting and strong knowledge of analysis / modelling techniques
  • Tech savvy, including advanced MS Excel Skills including Visual Basic and Power BI
