What you will be doing

Working alongside the Regional Assets Manager you will lead and provide effective, high quality administrative and facilities support services at our Te Puke Research Centre.

You will oversee the operation and maintenance of site, building and equipment management and be integral to ensuring that our internal and external customers are provided with an excellent customer centric experience.

You will be proactive in coordinating activities related to building maintenance, contractor management, front office support, security, people care and health and safety.

With a major building programmed for this site this role will have an important part to play an in managing change on the site.

Local leadership will include facilitation of the site's meetings, chairing the Campus committee meetings, instigating continuous improvement initiatives through regular review of site services and management of one Administrator role on site.

What you will need

Five years + general office service experience, preferably including exposure to property maintenance / facilities management

  • Well-developed numeracy, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Purchasing experience using computer systems
  • Computer literacy and competence with Microsoft Office applications
  • Current driver's licence
  • Exposure to health & safety management systems - including contractor management experience an advantage.
