They have a vast network of customers throughout New Zealand and are experienced in delivering all types of temporary works projects including scaffolding, propping, temporary roofs, containment, stairs, stages, grandstands, rubbish chutes and construction hoists.
They currently have an opportunity for a national Trainer / Designer to join their technical team based in their Wellington or Auckland office.
This is a key appointment for Layher national business, the responsibilities will include :
Leading training focus groups for new training modules and revise training modules to meet needs of customers and liaise with Layher Germany, customers and SARNZ regarding future opportunities for Layher NZ’s training offering.
Discussing and reporting design, planning or construction problems with Engineers, assist in providing after sales support to clients and give advice on Layher products internally and externally.
Preparing 3D CAD drawings and list of required components for scaffold, falsework, event, and protective systems designs from client meetings, site surveys, drawings, and tender documentation.
You will have previous experience in developing power point presentations and delivering training modules. This could be within the scaffolding design, safety and best practice solutions, software products related to draughting and design work or materials supplied across the built environment sector.
Industry experience in scaffold design, scaffolding systems or other temporary works products and 3D-CAD design software is an advantage.
