About the Role
As an Urban Planner, you will bring your regional and urbanplanning experience to join the Transport and Urban Planning team which sitswithin the Strategy & Science Group.
This is a key planning role which willencourage you to develop your planning skills under RMA and the new SpatialPlanning Act.
In this role you will be getting your headaround Government legislation and changes, the new framework for resourcemanagement, understanding perspectives and the needs and drivers of partners,and you will be integrating this into clear policy and strategic advice.
Therole is part of a talented and supportive team of good thinkers.
We are needing the best and brightest to help shape the futureof the Bay. It is a team effort, but we need what you will bring.
How do we managegrowth in the right way? As well as your strength in developing spatialintegrated planning, development of policy and legislative analysis, with aminimum of 3 years’ experience in this, we equally need the right interpersonalattributes.
You will be a person who collaborates, is delivery focused, andwhilst you will be clear about outcomes you will be agile in your approach on regardinghow to get there.
The successful applicant will be accurate in the provision ofpolicy development and advice. You will have a quick mind and will be able to seethe big picture of how things fit together.
