Is this role for you?

  • Do you crave meaningful work where you can see the impact of your efforts?
  • Do you want to be part of a journey that promises to be exciting and rewarding?
  • Do you believe you have the skillsets to play a critical part in the next wave towards hybrid cloud infrastructure?
  • Have you dabbled or have interest in some of the following : - S3 storage, distributed file storage, block storage, san switch zoning, ansible, terraform, python, powershell, networking fundamentals, VMware fundamentals and Linux?
  • If you answered yes to the above questions, then you should read on.

At CCL, we are guided by our values of Integrity, Trust, Ownership, Challenge and Teamwork. As long as you identify with these values, we are keen to have a chat with you even if you don't understand all of the technologies.

We are looking for motivated engineers who have some understanding of the various storage technologies and are willing to put in the hard yards to learn the rest.

A competitive salary package is on offer.

The IT storage industry is changing fast. Although we still need engineers who understand SAN protocols, zoning methodologies, RAID types etc, it is equally important to know object storage using S3 protocol, understand the networking that provides access to the S3 storage, learn about distributed file storage etc.

We aspire to become the partner of choice for customers looking for IaaS, hybrid cloud, public cloud etc and this is an opportunity for you to jump onboard at the beginning of this journey.

  • Interacting with other teams to play a proactive and valuable role in providing services to the organisation at large
  • Ensure the ongoing pro-active monitoring of the environments to ensure proactive resolution of problems, incidents, and concerns, before they are service impacting.
  • Contribute to the 24x7 On-call roster identifying areas for automation, tuning and improvement
