The successful candidate will be working in a strong team environment to provide expertise in the management of marine pests.
Your excellent communication skills, technical expertise, and project management experience will add value to our team who through the implementation of marine pathway management plans to reduce the spread of marine pests in the Waikato Region.
To be considered for this position you will have between 8-10 years experience in marine and coastal or a similar biosecurity related field (e.
g. biodiversity restoration, pest management) and a tertiary qualification or relevant industry training.
Well-developed project management skills are a pre-requisite for this role and the successful candidate will have proven communication and interpersonal skills.
