In the Enterprise Risk and Transformation team (within the Risk Division) we have two exciting roles for experienced Assurance Managers.

You will play a key part in providing risk-based assurance through scheduled reviews of bank-wide material risks, policies and regulatory obligations.

As an Assurance Manager, you will : Design and lead targeted assurance reviews across our business and deliver insights and recommendations which continually improve ASBs processes and control environmentIdentify improvement opportunities and communicate these effectively to the business, using your excellent problem solving and stakeholder management skillsHave a strong sense of integrity and professional approach to deadlines and deliverables making you a valued business partnerWork in a dynamic environment and contribute to enhancing ASB's risk cultureSkills and experience we are looking for : At least 5 years' experience working in a risk, compliance or internal audit function within the financial services sectorPreferably hold tertiary qualifications in a commercial, legal, risk or audit disciplineSound stakeholder management, judgment and decision making capabilityUnderstanding of how a bank works and the regulatory challenges and risks the industry is facingThe role will suit someone with an enquiring mind, good analytical skills, an ability to provide the "so what" in relation to insights and who can then confidently communicate that with business stakeholders.
