We are seeking a Porter to join our Front Office team in Queenstown!
Our unique location offers our guests two hotels from the Hilton brand to choose from : Hilton Queenstown Resort and Spa and DoubleTree by Hilton Queenstown and all of our Team Members get to work across both brands.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
As a Porter, you are working together with our Front Office team to provide an unforgettable guest experience. The team are responsible for the organization and smooth running of all processes in the hotel lobby.
In order to do so, you complete the following tasks and responsibilities :
Welcome our guests on arrival and assist them throughout their stay
Manage guest luggage
Show guests to their rooms and explain the amenities and emergency procedures
Prepare the lobby information board
Safety valet guest cars and drive hotel complementary shuttle service
Keep up-to-date with hotel and local services and events
Provide support to the Concierge as required
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our Porters are the welcoming spirit that sets Hilton apart. You are the first and final impression of our hotel. To be successful in this role, we are looking for a person with :
A passion for contributing to and enhancing our guests experience
Previous customer service experience in the hotel, leisure and / or retail sector
Excellent personal presentation
Strong communication skills (Fluent English)
