Māori, Partnerships and Programmes Team
The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) is the lead agency for the social sector. MSD provides policy advice, and delivers social services and assistance to young people, working age people, older people, and families, whānau and communities.
We work directly with New Zealanders of all ages to improve their social wellbeing.
The Policy Analyst will provide analysis and advice for the Māori Partnerships and Programmes (MPP) and across the Māori, Communities and Partnerships (MCP) Business Unit.
The role will gather and share insights and advice on how to make it easier for iwi / Māori to engage and partner with the Ministry and for the Ministry to become more effective in the delivery of services for iwi / Māori.
The role will influence the development and documentation of policy, operational guidelines, investment procurement and funding plans that will improve MSD's engagement and partnerships with iwi / Māori.
