    The details : Permanent, 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE)

    A unique opportunity has become available for a Facilities Supervisor to work at the Waikato Hospital.

    The successful applicant will :

  • Have experience in Planned and Responsive maintenance
  • Manage the day to day activities for contractors and in house staff for a range of facilities management services
  • Be able to develop and oversee short, medium and long term maintenance plans, strategies and scheduling
  • Have broad knowledge of building maintenance
  • Ensure required services are supplied and delivered in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure reliability, efficiency and performance
  • Provide technical input into projects
  • Have cost Management experience
  • Ensure all work and work practices complies with legislative requirements
  • Enforcing building and safety regulations
  • Have sound communication skills and demonstrated experience dealing with customers in a professional manner
