Contract : Permanent - part time hours

Hours : Rostered and rotating shifts - 0.8 FTE

About the role

We have a new part time position available, working rostered and rotating shifts, available in our 12-bed for a registered nurse to join our experienced multi-disciplinary cardiac team.

Our unit focus is to provide high quality patient care predominantly for acute cardiac conditions. We provide a multidisciplinary team approach to recovery, and have strong links with cardiac rehabilitation, cardiac nurse specialists and the community.

Patients requiring tertiary level cardiac services are transferred to Wellington Hospital.

We are keen to hear from you if you are an experienced nurse with the following qualities :

  • Have a nursing portfolio demonstrating professional development
  • Committed to teamwork
  • To be considered for our role you must be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and hold a current APC. Ideally you will have at least one year’s nursing experience in NZ and have worked in a similar role.
