Our Christchurch office is currently seeking a Project Manager for Three Waters Engineering projects to become an integral member of our New Zealand water business.

We are looking for a Project Manager to deliver a wide range of three waters and civil infrastructure projects. In this role, you’ll provide proactive management of the project team, support the local team with project management activities and develop trusted relationships with our clients in order to ensure that projects are delivered successfully and on time.

This will include assistance with bid preparation, project tracking and reporting (including financial) and direct project management.

This truly is a key role with a lot of scope to develop your skillset! You will be valued for your use of initiative, ability to pre-empt and problem solve, along with a robust understanding of Project Management principles, thrive working within a Project Management framework, a high degree of computer savvy and a strong eye for detail.

To be successful, you will have :

  • A project management qualification (Prince 2 or PMI) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience using MS Project skills as well as advanced MS Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proactive problem-solving ability.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility in your approach to challenges.
  • Strong motivation to help deliver project solutions to our clients.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work with and manage virtual teams.
  • Technical experience in the field three waters and civil engineering.
