About this role
Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
Covering the international flight schedule in and out of Wellington, there are a variety of shift patterns including nights, weekends and public holidays.
Your hours will fluctuate between seasons and in accordance with flight schedules.
Your hours of work will be between 40 and 80 hours per pay period / fortnightly (including approved annual leave).
This role will see you working across a range of functions in the Customs airport environment.
The starting salary is $50,751 per annum and an allowance of $10,701 per annum. This is a full-time equivalent starting salary and will be pro-rated based on the hours that you work.

To join Te Mana Ārai o Aotearoa in any role you must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident*. Due to the nature of Customs' work all candidates must have a clear Police record.
Security clearances are mandatory and are conducted by Customs. Due to the nature of this work, you must be able to obtain and maintain organisational clearance.
You need to have continuously resided in New Zealand for the last 5 years and 5 years ago from the date of this application.
