We are proud to be helping families eat well every day. We currently have an opportunity available to join our team as a Production and Feed Planner based at our Takanini Feedmill Plant.

Reporting to the Auckland Feedmill Manager, you will develop a wide understanding of the feed milling process, ensuring cohesive feed production whilst adhering to all biosecurity and residue protocols.

The focus of this position is on ensuring ongoing co-ordination, control and improvement of production planning across the Auckland Feed Milling operation.

To be successful in this role you will have an ability to understand and manage both internal and external customer needs and expectations.

This position involves planning, scheduling and ensuring accurate and timely production and delivery of all bulk and bagged feeds for the Takanini Feedmill with the main focus of this position being to ensure customers feed orders are met and that the Feedmill runs as efficiently as possible.

The successful applicant needs :

  • Strong analytical skills coming from work experience or study
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a focus on driving improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • You will have strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • This is a role where you can make a genuine difference to the business and deliver real improvements in savings and efficiency.

    While experience in a milling environment or similar would be helpful, the most important factors we are looking for are your analytical abilities and focus on improvement as demonstrated by your studies or previous work experience.
