About this role

Fixed-term for 12 months.

Due to two secondment opportunities within our Recruitment team, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Recruitment Coordinator.

As our trusted Recruitment Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for all recruitment queries from candidates and hiring managers for both Parliamentary Service and Office of the Clerk.

You're someone who enjoys customer service and ensuring that the stakeholder experience is remarkable across the board. You'll provide effective coordination services to a wide range of people which means you thrive on working collaboratively whether that's over the phone, face-to-face or via email.

We promise it's never a dull day. You'll keep things moving by booking in interviews, preparing offer letters and employment agreements and informing candidates about the results of their application.

Working in a political environment is fast paced, but you'll be the type of person to take that in your stride and enjoy the challenge of getting to problem solve on a daily basis.

Attention to detail and following process is paramount but you'll also gain exposure on a wide range of situations and there's plenty of opportunity to learn and upskill in this role.

Perhaps you've had some recruitment experience already, but the right person could also have a sound knowledge of administration systems and procedures from another industry.

Our ideal person will be a clear communicator and have a demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively manage a varied workload.

Above all, we're looking for someone with a fun, 'can-do' attitude and proactive approach who is keen to roll their sleeves up and grow their skill set within a supportive and high-performing team.
