Work with a giant of technology :

We are looking for a Technical Team Leader to support a talented team of individuals whose specialist skills include DBA’s (Oracle and SQL), Unix and Middleware.

You will be responsible for the delivery of cost-effective, competent and timely services to our customers in what we describe as this mid-range area.

You’ll be interacting daily with the customer, as well as Fujitsu’s Service Delivery team, around incidents, projects and other initiatives across the technologies described.

As Team Leader you will supervise the day-to-day tasks of the Engineers and DBA’s and ensure work is allocated amongst the team for maximum output.

While you are not expected to be an expert in all the technical areas covered, you should have enough experience to understand the fundamentals of most areas, and possibly be a specialist in one.

To thrive in the role, we anticipate you will need to have :

  • Proven leadership capability
  • Previous customer facing experience, where you have acted as the primary escalation point
  • The ability to engage with and work across a range of professional levels
  • A strong technical understanding in one or more of the mid-range technologies mentioned.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid foundation and understanding of ITIL processes.
