Ward 25 is a 27 bed unit providing inpatient carefor people with a range of respiratory conditions. There’s lots of variety inour ward and there is great opportunity to develop your skills with training inareas such as chest drains and BiPap.
Ward 25 encourages Nurses with theirprofessional development and is supported by a Nurse Educator to facilitateongoing learning opportunities.
While you’ll receive a comprehensiveorientation and be well supported by other members of the team, recent acutemedical experience and a focus and commitment to quality patient care isessential to this role.

In this busy acute environment, you’ll needexcellent assessment and time management skills. Your excellent communicationsskills will be pivotal to your success in this role as you will be engaging andeducating patients and their families to ensure the best possible outcome
You will have demonstrated ability to work bothautonomously and collaboratively with other professionals. The ability to beadaptable, flexible and solution focused.
We will provide you with a thoroughorientation package and ongoing support to develop the skills required to workin this exciting specialty.
