MASSEY OFFERS MORE THAN A SALARY AND HOLIDAYS
Massey prides itself on many joint initiatives (city-wide) that offer a range of products, services and perks to Massey staff which are free or at preferential discounts.
The University also offers a substantial contribution toward superannuation.
The surgery service itself at Massey works out of a dedicated surgical suite and provides services to companion animals, equine and on occasion production animal and wildlife animals.
You will be working alongside Veterinary professionals in New Zealand’s only veterinary teaching hospital facility.
Massey Vets provides 24 / 7 Emergency Critical care, along with Community Practice and Referral clinics. This leads to a both challenging and extremely rewarding work environment.
Massey’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital is a state-of-the-art, fast-paced facility offering New Zealand’s most comprehensive veterinary expertise.
We are the only 24-hour pet emergency centre in the central North Island so at times we have a high caseload, and our patients require a very high level of nursing care.
ABOUT YOU :
The successful applicant will provide high-quality surgery and sterile supply technical support as part of our surgery nursing team.
Duties may involve working with staff and patients mainly from our companion animal hospital and also from our large animal and wildlife hospitals.
