Clinical Coordinator COVID-19 Vaccination Implementation Programme


  • Fixed term, full time (40hours / week)
  • Vaccination Implementation programme until 30 June 2022
  • We are seeking a Clinical Coordinator to support the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme in the southern region.

    Specifically, this key position is required to clinically coordinate, lead and provide clinical day-to-day oversight at the SDHB mass vaccination centre in Dunedin.

    The role will be responsible for oversight of nursing, IMAC and Ministry of Health professional standards, quality improvement, immunisation coverage activities including reporting while working collaboratively with the Charge Nurse Manager, Site Manager, Public Health, Primary Health and other key stake holders in the community.

    We are looking for a truly amazing New Zealand Registered Health Professional with relevant clinical experience in immunisation and vaccine preventable diseases or transferable skills in coordination and leadership is an advantage.

    Experience and understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi / Maori health equity and disparities are essential, as will be your highly developed communication skills with the ability and passion to work with a diverse range of children young people and their family’s whānau.

    You will be open minded, quality driven, and have the ability to work both independently while being a valued member of a supportive, friendly team.

    It is essential that you are computer literate, and that you have a full clean driver’s license. It will be a strong advantage if you have experience in Well Child / youth / Whanau Ora health.
