Our Onehunga office is seeking a Receptionist / Administrator to provide the smile and cheerful voice at our reception desk.

This is a full-time permanent role packed full of variety where you will need to think on your feet and be ready to tackle anything that is thrown your way.

You will work closely with other support people within the office and across the business to provide accurate and timely support to the team.

The key responsibilities of the role include :

  • Being the smile and friendly voice for all clients and visitors to the office
  • Arranging couriers and packing of items for dispatch
  • Looking after our staff room and kitchen, keeping it tidy and well stocked
  • Organising stationery and office supplies
  • Assistance with event management
  • Other ad hoc support for staff as required
  • Word-processing, data entry, and formatting of reports and other relevant correspondence
  • Ideally, you will possess a friendly personality, excellent phone manner and have an optimistic can-do attitude, and a desire to help our high-performing team run smoothly.

    To be successful in this role, you will need :

  • To be well presented, a self-motivated individual who is bright and enthusiastic with exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Prior experience in a customer service or reception role
  • The ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and work accurately under conflicting time pressures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ideally, some understanding of accounts receivable / payable
  • A driver's licence as you may be running daily errands
