Mount Wellington, AucklandFull-time, PermanentSt John is a 24-hour national Health Transport Operations Centre which coordinates and plans the requests for patient transfers by ambulance between health facilities across most areas of New Zealand.
As a Health Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for liaising with clinical and operations staff from DHBs and other healthcare providers to plan and coordinate the safe and efficient transfer of patients, clinical staff and equipment between facilities or air ambulances.
Ideally you will have been involved in some way in health sector environment and have some knowledge or experience with patient flows or bed capacity management within a hospital environment.
As this is a 24 hour operation we have a few shifts available, these will be discussed in the phone interview and based on availability.
We have watch a based roster where you would be required to work a 4 x 4 roster DDNN 06h30 - 18h30 / 18h30 - 06h30. We also have a Monday to Friday roster.
