The Opportunity

Our Clients & Markets team provides leadership, advice and support to all levels of our organisation on best practice business development strategies and client engagement.

Within this team and based in either Auckland or Wellington, the scope is nationwide, supporting our Transport & Infrastructure business line.

The opportunity will be to contribute to business development initiatives across New Zealand, supporting activities that increase sales, build market profile, strengthen client relationships and contribute to success.

This is a variety-packed role, where a winning mindset will thrive. You will draw on our internal knowledge and external market understanding to proactively manage our pipeline and pursue key opportunities.

Focus areas encompass coordinating must-win pursuits and proposals, creating project descriptions and marketing collateral, helping to grow our market profile (including award and conference submissions) and partnering with our CRMs to focus on our strategic clients, managing our pipeline and sharing data analysis and insights towards improvement and success.

Sitting with the technical delivery leaders, you’ll be part of our New Zealand-wide Business Development team, with the support of other professionals doing similar work, to guide your understanding of how to prioritise your time between the everchanging needs of this critical and exciting business line.

About You

From a foundation of marketing or business development experience ideally relevant to our built environment, you will be looking to grow your experience, bringing exposure to proposal (bid) coordination, technical writing and editing, creation of marketing collateral, familiarity with professional social media platforms and an understanding of strategic business initiative development.

Proactive, positive and a team player, you are curious to understand more about our customers, to use their language and champion their perspective, You are organised and adept at juggling multiple moving parts, with the confidence to hold others accountable for their actions and deadlines.

You are certainly an exceptional writer, facilitator and communicator, combining these skills with your appetite to help us win!
