  • We have an exciting opportunity for an experience Project Management Accountant to be our Service Delivery Lead.

    Future Learning Solutions He PuńĀwaitanga Anamata (FLS) provides services and programs to strengthen the capability and resilience of educators to support learner achievement in our changing world.

    Drawing upon research from the University of Auckland and managed by UniServices, FLS works alongside leaders, teachers and school communities, co-constructing professional learning and development focused on lifting professional practice and improving outcomes for learners.

  • This role will be pivotal in managing the budget and financial performance of our programmes. Delivering on time and with high levels of customer satisfaction the;
  • setting up of budgets for Proposals; ongoing budget management and journaling; annual budgeting and forecasting; monthly reviews and reporting;
  • management of accruals; providing financial analysis on an as required basis, supporting the day-to-day management of projects.

    Our teams at Future learning support a variety of programmes.

    To be successful in this role you will need :

  • Experience in managing the budget and financial performance of projects.
  • The ability to achieve financial targets by contributing to preparation of budgets and pro-actively monitoring financial plans and budgets for the portfolio.
  • Project management experience and programme co-ordination in a large and / or complex organisation
  • A track record in continuous improvement in financial and operational processes in a service-based organisation.
  • Excellent relationships building skills with the team and other stakeholders with the ability to communicate clearly and influentially.
  • Ability to develop and deliver client reports including operational delivery and financial updates.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, excellent organisational skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
