What you will do
As the Material Management Team Leader (MMTL) you'll ensure that military Unit stores accounts and equipment management best business practices are used throughout the NZDF.
In order to support the wider NZDF equipment management function the MMTL you'll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of Unit audit and accounting compliance, process improvement and equipment management training to ensure that best business practices are used throughout the equipment support supply chain.
What we need
An experienced Team Leader with supply chain and asset management experience and expertise, strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain business practices as well as a good understanding of capital acquisition concepts and deliverable's.
You'll be a skilled communicator, experienced with financial management, process improvement and training development / delivery.
Your ability to focus on the strategic direction of the team, where you will develop and maintain an environment focused on continuous improvement and enhances operational performance is crucial to your success in this role.
You'll have strong analytical research skills, knowledge of policy and strategy development, as well as experience in the management of business change.
Ideally you'll be familiar with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), project management and the use of corporate ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle).
Your qualifications in Supply Chain, Asset Management and Lean Six Sigma will be beneficial to your application.
