Are you looking to contribute to the community in ameaningful way? Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand, is looking for full time andpart time Kitchen Assistants to join the Christchurch Hospital WellFoodDepartment.

Join our dedicated and hard-working WellFood Department andhelp feed our tūroro (patients) and whānau.

Mō te tūnga About the role

Our kitchen kapa (team) are responsible for ensuringthat the needs of each tūroro (patient) is met to the highest standard.

Following standardised recipes and using creative flair to present food that wecan be proud of.

The Kitchen Assistants are responsible forpreparing and presenting food, while maintaining clean and tidy working areas.

You will be required to following food handling, safety and infection controlpolicies and procedures.

We have full time and part time hours available between the hours of 6amto 7.30pm, seven days per week. Part time hours would be aminimum of 15 hours per week.

  • These part time and full-time roles arefixed term until 30 / 11 / 2022
  • We also have a full-time fixed termrole covering a secondment until 17 / 10 / 2022

    We are looking for a reliable, hardworking andflexible candidate who is able to bring their passion for hospitality servicesto our facilities.

    WellFood is looking for motivated, reliable and punctualkaimahi (staff) to join our kapa (team). This role would suit someone who islooking for flexible working hours, is able to work on their feet and can focusin busy, loud environments.

    Experience working in large scale kitchenenvironments would be advantageous.
