Wehave a permanent part-time position available, working 60 hours a fortnight (0.75FTE),based at the Marlborough Community Health Hub in Blenheim.
Weare looking for an experienced paediatric occupational therapist who is passionateabout working with children and being part of multi-disciplinary team.
You willsee children with neuro-developmental disorders, sensory issues, coordinationand functional difficulties and much, much more.
You will work collaborativelywith other services such as Ministry of Education, Needs Assessment Services,Ti Piki Oranga, Plunket, Explore, Child and Adolescent Mental Health to name afew.
The role will require you to beadaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs.
TheChild Development Service (CDS) team has a strong commitment to childprotection and is dedicated to helping children achieve optimum function andwellbeing.
this role spans community,primary, inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will be a NZ registered occupationaltherapist, with a current APC and have Enable Assessor accreditation.You will have experience and a passion for working in paediatrics.
You willalso have excellent communication and rapport building skills with children and their whānau and will shareour passion for delivering an excellent service, whilst being a dedicated teamplayer.
You will becommitted to adhering to best practice and extending your own professionaldevelopment.
For the health and safety of staff and patients all NMH staff arerequired to be vaccinated in accordance with the COVID-19 Public HealthResponse (Vaccinations) Order 2021.
