We have a fantastic opportunity for a Compliance Specialist to join our busy in-house Risk team. This exciting new role is all about being the compliance assurance specialist and trusted advisor to senior management.
As our Compliance Assurance Specialist, you will support and co-ordinate compliance focused reviews across the Bank, including establishing the assurance programme and sound review (audit informed) disciplines, enabling the Bank to assure compliance with a risk-based lens.
In order to be successful in this role, ideally you will : Compliance and / or internal audit experience, preferably in a financial services or Big 4 environmentExperience in identifying controls, improving processes and developing monitoring and testing programmesExperience of reporting on control assignmentsAbility to work with competing priorities and effectively manage timelinesDemonstrate an ability to make sound judgment based on evidence and has evidence of analytical skillsProven ability to contribute to innovative, pragmatic solutions to meet compliance and operational risk needs.
Proven track record successfully managing stakeholders and developing relationships at all levels of the organisationProven ability to quickly and confidently build relationships and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external partiesAbility to successfully manage multiple stakeholders with conflicting expectationsQuickly finds common ground and solves problems for good of allShows as a self-starter, has a proactive approach, cooperativeExcellent communication skills combined with a structured approach to planning and organisingAbility to communicate effectively and professionally with people at all levels across the businessDemonstrated ability to produce clear and concise reportsMaintains accuracy and attention to detailA relevant tertiary or post graduate degree qualificationYou don't have to tick all these boxes to be considered for this role!At Kiwibank we're all about making Kiwis better off.
