An exciting new opportunity has come up for an experienced administrator to join Waipā District Council's busy Business Improvement and Risk Management (BIRM) team.

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Support Administrator to support the successful delivery of a wide range of business improvement projects across the Council.

This role will work closely with Information Services and Business Improvement staff to support successful project outcomes as well as provide financial, administrative and governance support to the Business Improvement and Information Services programmes.

About You

  • We are looking for a professional and reliable individual who demonstrates initiative and can keep a cool head in a busy environment;
  • someone who can work with our technical staff to keep things running smoothly. Strong time management and prioritisation skills are a must, as is the ability to communicate effectively and build a rapport with others.

    Ideally you will bring the following skills and experience :

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • A strong working knowledge of MS Office applications;
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail;
  • The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships; and
  • Above all, a fantastic attitude, and the desire to learn, grow, and provide quality support to the teams you work with.
