We are currently recruiting full-time, 32-40 hours per week, permanent Community Support Workers, who have the skills and attitude to support people in acquiring new skills, navigating access to the community and the resources they require to enable a quality life.
We require people who are able to work flexibly, at variable times with a variety of people across the Auckland region, in a variety of settings.
Aspirations, Choices in Community Living and Supported Living.Ideally, we need people who remain calm and patient under pressure and are able to problem solve in challenging situations.
You also need to be innovative, a self-starters, who is able to reflect on your own practice and who is able to be highly people centric and guided in your approach.
You need to have excellent communication skills, an ability to engage with all types of people in a respective way and a sense of humour is essential.
A driver's license is required and the use of your own vehicle is necessary, police vetting is required as is compliance with the requirements of the vulnerable Children's Act.
