We are looking for a National Marketing Manager to join an Auckland based organisation in the banking and financial services sector.
The key responsibility in this role is to build and implement a marketing strategy that creates brand awareness and an improved customer experience.
The NZ Marketing Manager will have a proven track record of developing and executing marketing strategies to successfully support business objectives and growth.
About the role :
Design and implementation of the marketing strategy
Internal and external communications
Overseeing promotional activity to support business growth strategies and revenue objectives
Work across a diverse range of activities; promotions, sponsorships, events, campaigns, collateral and media
Building effective cross-functional relationships, working closely with the product, sales, delivery and operations teams in New Zealand and Trans-Tasman
Management of third-party relationships
Engagement with the product team and marketing support for the sales function
Budget control
Drive corporate social responsibility initiatives
About you :
Tertiary qualified in business, marketing or similar desirable
Minimum 5 years in a senior marketing role
Knowledge of banking and financial services market advantageous
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Experience in managing product marketing initiatives and marketing budgets
Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
High level of customer focus
Effective negotiator
Experience in designing and implementing marketing strategies
Expert in Excel, analytically proficient
