What we do

The Physiotherapy team at Christchurch Hospital is looking forTeam Leader with a specialist interest in Women’s Health Physiotherapy to coordinateand lead a team working across the clinical specialities of Women’s Health,Orthopaedics, Hand Therapy and Haemophilia. .

TheRole : Where you fit in

You’ll be co-ordinating and providing leadership for a team andworking clinically as a Women’s Health Physiotherapist.

As a Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for the dailyco-ordination and operational management of the team including clinicalsupervision, teaching, training and facilitating professional development foryour team.

Both internal and externalprofessional development opportunities are encouraged.

Along with the Clinical Manager (Physiotherapy) you will be partof the leadership team supporting, guiding, and directing the PhysiotherapyService on the Christchurch Hospital Campus.

You will enjoy the opportunity to be involved with the development andmaintenance of policies and procedures and take the chance to contribute at amultidisciplinary level on quality and governance committees.

Yourskills will include :

  • A minimum of 2 years clinical experience working in Women’s Health
  • Broad clinical experience working in a hospital setting (desirable);
  • Good understanding of the current management principles of chronic pain as well as an understanding of the principles of adult education;
  • An ability to lead and contribute to interdisciplinary service development
  • Knowledge of quality improvement principles and processes
  • An ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities (desirable)
