Whakatāne Hospital is seeking Health Care Assistants (HCAs) to be part of our Nursing Resource Team. The HCAs on this team respond to unexpected short notice leave, periods of high demand and patients that may require ongoing supervision.
The HCA role is to assist the Registered Nurse in delivering a high standard of nursing care to patients in hospital. This position involves working under the direction of nursing teams who are committed to delivering comprehensive, quality care to patients.

He korero mōu - About You
Preferred applicants will have a certificate in Health Care Assistance Level 3 (or other relevant qualification) and have current experience working as an HCA in a health care setting or in a related health care service.
You must also be entitled to work in New Zealand.
