    As part of our property leadership team, you'll be central to making sure our facilities support that to happen.

    What will you do?

    Reporting to our Group Property Manager you will work closely with our wider Property,Village and inhouse Design Management teams to ensure our major village refurbishments are managed and delivered to the highest standard.

    This is an exciting time to join the Ryman Property team as our property portfolio continues to grow, with no plans to slow down!

    Key responsibilities include :

  • Overseeing the delivery of all major Village refurbishments including scoping, design, consenting, contractor procurement, construction & financial performance
  • Overseeing the financials of all major refurbishment projects, including preparing capital budgets and forecasts; leading monthly capex reporting against budget and cost to complete
  • Developing and implementing project governance processes for all major refurbishments, ensuring all approvals for projects are obtained in a timely manner
  • Ensuring all projects are staged to minimise disruption to our residents
  • Leading the reporting on all projects, ensuring they follow a structured and regular reporting process, including regular design, construction, financial and project delivery reports;
  • developing regular reports for our Senior Executive and Board

  • Supporting and driving a high performing Refurbishment team who deliver results and drive innovation; regular travel across New Zealand is required in this role

  • You have proven experience managing and delivering a portfolio of construction or development projects in a commercial environment, and you understand the importance of governance in the delivery of major projects
  • You have a passion for continuous improvement and are not content with standard;
  • You are able to drive and motivate a high performing team and encourage a growth mindset
  • You value people and kindness, and are passionate about building strong relationships and exceeding expectations; You believe in the value of strong, positive, supportive teams who work together as one
