We have an exciting Full-Time opportunity to lead our Compass Group operations within the Air New Zealand Lounge at Wellington Airport.

You will be responsible for :

Leading a team of Compass Group Lounge Asst. Managers, Supervisors and Catering Assistants to deliver an exceptional level of service for our high value lounge guests.

The role will include hiring, coaching, training, development, performance, and wellbeing of your team. Your will work alongside the Compass Group Culinary Manager to partner equally and deliver on the Service & Culinary promise.

Sharing the Air New Zealand Lounge vision, you will inspire a 'one team' culture to delivering on KPIs. You'll combine leadership strengths with expertise in hospitality and customer experience, bringing the premium Lounge experience to life.

A key deliverable is ensuring your contract is compliant to set standards and run commercially in line with net growth and retention targets and bringing the joint Air New Zealand and Compass Group Vision & Values to life.

If you're our perfect candidate, you will :

Be a high energy, inclusive leader with the ability to form productive relationships with clients and individuals from diverse backgrounds, and proven experience in managing successful teams.

You'll have an in depth understanding of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment and ability to apply principles, with multi-site operational experience in a similar role within the industry.

You'll need strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage a budget. You will also have working knowledge of workplace regulations, including agreement requirements, the ability to identify contract retention activities, and thorough comprehension of food hygiene practices.
