The Office for Seniors is looking an experienced Senior Advisor to join the team.
It is an exciting time in the Office for Seniors. Working closely with the Manager and Director you will have a varied work programme which will include working in close partnership with the sector and Government agencies to identify and promote best practice and innovative approaches and provide high quality information and advice on issues to support older New Zealanders leading valued, connecting and fulfilling lives.
The Senior Advisor will work with others to promote and implement across the Government the national strategy for our ageing population, Better Later Life He Oranga Kaumātua 2019 to 2034 and Action Plan.

The Office for Seniors provides a focal point within government for information and advice on issues affecting older people.
The Office works with the Minister for Seniors supporting her focus on the wellbeing of older people.
