    This opportunity to join thePayroll team at Nelson Marlborough Health, on a fixed-term basis, is guaranteedto extend your payroll skills.

    We are keen to receive expressions of interest from peopleavailable to work on a part-time or full-time basis through until theend of June 2022.

    Our payrollteam is responsible for end-to-end processing payroll for almost 3,000 NelsonMarlborough Health employees geographically spread from Murchison to Blenheim.

    We have a fully integrated roster to pay system to assist us with such a largeand complex payroll service.

    Our keyfocus is provide a quality payroll service to our fellow colleagues. We strivefor excellence in everything we do and are always open to new ideas on how toimprove our service.

    Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Whois an appropriate applicant?)

    To succeed in this role you will have an interest in rostering andworking with Payroll / HRIS applications.

    It would be advantageous if you had knowledge of NZ Payroll relatedlegislation, experience with roster to pay systems and experience with usingAMS Software (LEADER, ACTOR, SQL).

    However, this is not essential as trainingcould be provided to the right candidate who has a strong administrationbackground and is keen to develop their career in payroll.

    We are looking for applicants who have :

  • strong administration skills and meticulousattention to detail
  • proven ability to work self-directed within asmall team
  • excellent written and oral communication skills
  • demonstrated ability to engage with and developemployees skills around the use of new technology, when working with wideranging levels of IT competency
  • proven ability to foster collaboration withstakeholders.
  • For the health andsafety of both staff and patients, and in line with the Health Order, all NMHstaff are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
