  • Opportunity to work in a flexible and collaborative work environment (flexible working hours available) About The Role In this role, you would have the opportunity to :
  • Research, pitch and produce engaging stories and multimedia content across traditional and social media channels
  • Demonstrate your ability to film and edit short-form video, as well as take and edit photos.
  • Help deliver initiatives that grow customer satisfaction, consideration and market share
  • Assist in dealing with news media queries and provide communications including to senior Manager to ensure effective delivery of business objectives
  • Work collaboratively with team members to improve knowledge of the external and internal business environment
  • Deliver communication programmes and plans against specified timeframes and budgets Location : Auckland About You To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following :
  • Proven experience in journalism and / or content producing, and an ability to identify story angles / ideas
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn new skills. A good understanding of social and traditional media
  • Established writing skills with an ability to identify and tell stories about business and customers across multiple platforms
  • Resilience and confidence in handling difficult and challenging situations and understanding issues facing banks and the finance services sector
  • A strategic thinker and sound judgement with problem solving and influencing
  • Ability to make and maintain good relationships with media, ANZ contacts and stakeholders Corporate Affairs Our Corporate Affairs team plays an important role in building and protecting ANZ’s reputation in New Zealand.
  • Corporate Affairs is responsible for : Staff communications Media relations Government Relations Corporate Social Responsibility including the ANZ Staff Foundation (staff payroll giving scheme) and staff volunteering Content creation storytelling via video and print for online channels and media About ANZ Our purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive.
