  • Our client based in the Howick area is looking for an experienced Branch Manager to join, lead and oversee their team. Duties and Responsibilities : Day to day operations of business Lead and manage the staff compliment in areas of procurement, receiving, shed, transport, floor sales, and tills Manage sales performance levels Manage merchandise, store presentation, and promotions Liaise with head office around central functions, including HR / Debtors / Finance / IT Build rapport with the community Drive continual customer service improvement Strategy planning and implementation Position Requirements : Matric or preferably relevant tertiary qualification Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager role in hardware / building / agriculture or FMCG Business entrepreneurial skills and experience Product knowledge Building supplier relationships Strong management and leadership skills Analytical, planning and organizational skills Be able to adapt in a growing environment Proven track record of teamwork and responsibility Highly customer service driven Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (Knowledge of Pastel would be an advantage) Valid driver'
