About the role

We are seeking someone with great customer care and administrative skills to join our Greenlane, Auckland customer centre as an Associate Trustee.

Our Associate Trustees form a key part of our trustee teams, supporting our Senior and Principal Trustees to provide exceptional service to our customers during what can often be a difficult time for them.

Public Trust's customer centres support customers to manage their family assets, wills, estates, power of attorney and trusts in order to plan for their future.

In this varied role you will work with customers face to face and behind the scenes to establish their needs and support the wider team, mainly in an administrative capacity, to provide appropriate solutions from Public Trust's products and services.

Who we're looking for

Specialist knowledge of our industry and products is not required as we provide full (extensive!) training; however we are looking for the following attributes :

  • Attitude is key, we're looking for someone who is eager to learn, has high expectations of themselves, is willing to take on a wide range of tasks and responsibilities and will make a positive addition to our team
  • A dedication to providing exceptional customer care, particularly in emotionally challenging situations
  • Established administrative skills with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)
  • The ability to self-manage, work flexibly and prioritise work
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication
  • The ability to learn new processes and systems quickly
  • Exposure to basic accounting concepts would be helpful but isn't a must have
  • Some kind of tertiary-level qualification preferred.
