We are proud of our recent 2019 NZAGE Award recognition in wining the Graduate Development Programme and have aspiring plans to showcase our achievements in all our programmes!Your Role : Working within our L&D function, you will work collaboratively with Talent, HR and the Operational business on identifying opportunities to further develop and implement programmes focused on Graduates, Internships, Apprenticeships and Cadets.
You will enhance and develop the programmes for onboarding and internal transitioning, career progression and internal programme rotation activities to ensure we get the maximum exposure and development for our employees on these programmes while delivering to the business resourcing needs.
You will manage and oversee the individuals on these programmes, collecting performance information and in turn, implement appropriate mentoring, coaching supported with learning, development and qualifications for employees on the programmes, improving the organisations capability to meet future business growth.
You will develop strong external relationships with relevant qualification bodies and tertiary and training institutions, including ITO's and Unions.
This role is based in Auckland but will require the flexibility to travel from time to time around NZ.Working closely across the business you will collaborate with the broader HR team and all business units to understand the talent development needs across their teams.
This will help you identify talent priorities to oversee and manage the progression of talent into and across the business.
You will be the central point of contact to organise and support initiatives and programmes that advance the development of our people to meet the needs of our future workforce.
What will you bring?You will be an experienced professional from the world of L&D, HR or Talent Acquisition with sound knowledge and experience of leading Graduate, Intern, Cadets and Apprenticeship programmes.
You will have proven experience with the development of strategies and frameworks that deliver to these programmes and have expert relationship management skills including proven ability and experience of engaging and collaborating with external industry stakeholders (e.
g. NZQA / ITOs). Your approach to the success of these programmes will be your strong commercial acumen to work alongside the business to understand the opportunities for these programmes and then have a proven ability to work collaboratively with the wider L&D team, Talent, HR and Operations to development, implement, measure and report on it's performance.
