    Hauora Hokianga is a recognised Māori Health provider offering a range of health and social services for the residents of Hokianga through our main campus located in Rawene, and 9 clinics dispersed across the region.

    We are looking for a Corporate Services Manager to contribute to the strategic direction and efficiency of the organisation across a wide range of activities and work streams through developing, implementing and continuously improving business systems and processes.

  • Reporting to the CEO and a member of the executive leadership team, this role will include oversight of the human resources strategic framework, policies and procedures;
  • implementation of robust strategic planning and business planning processes; high quality financial planning and management and reporting processes;
  • and effective implementation of key organisational projects and change initiatives.

    You will lead a team of 6 direct reports responsible for human resources and financial management, business services and payroll, quality assurance and improvement, audit and risk, and health and safety activities.

    The ideal candidate will have :

  • 1 to 4 years experience as a Corporate Services or General Manager providing support to a governing board, senior executives, and their teams
  • knowledge and application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations for Crown agencies
  • proven successful business / accounting and human resource management experience at a senior level
  • previous experience in healthcare or NGO sector with a complex funding and delivery model
  • well-developed organisational skills along with the ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities, and meet deadlines while preserving the highest levels of accuracy and confidentiality
  • high level of interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and the capacity to manage relationships at all levels
  • proven record of delivery of high-quality work, including when working with ambiguity and time constraints
  • high-level analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to develop sound solutions in complex and ambiguous situations
  • previous experience in project management and facilitating change at an organisational level, including supporting others to implement and influence new initiatives
