Auckland City, Auckland(Airport Oaks, Auckland, New Zealand)ABOUT THE JOBThanks to an internal promotion, Danone Nutricia NZ is looking for a new member for our Laboratory Chemistry team!As a Lab Technician, you will join a team of 10 part of the wider Quality and Food Safety department, located at our production plant in Mangere.

You will work in our Laboratory which is accredited to ISO 17025 standard. This is a shift-based role with working hours between Tuesday and Saturday from 7am to 3 : 30pm.

You will : Process laboratory samples, preparing reagents and conducting testing in accordance with approved instructions and SOPsPlan and prioritise your work so that sampling, reagent preparation, testing and reporting are all completed in accordance to lab KPIsEnsure adherence to all Food Safety, ISO 22000 and ISO 17025 quality standardsParticipate in projects as assigned by Team Leader / Laboratory ManagerOperate laboratory equipment with care, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment in a safe mannerABOUT YOUYou must have a tertiary qualification in Chemistry / Microbiology / Food Science or equivalent.

You enjoy working with details and have great initiative when it comes to supporting the team. Flexibility and a sense of humour couldn’t hurt too!To be successful you will have : Experience working in a Lab environment and ISO 17025 standardGood understanding of basic chemistry / biology / physics principles and some knowledge of GLP / GMP / GHP / GDPA proactive and flexible approach to your tasksAttention to details, strong communication and multi-tasking skillsThe agility and resilience to succeed in a pressured and fast-paced environmentABOUT USDanone’s mission is Bringing health through food to as many people as possible and we want to invite people to join the movement for a healthier world.
