An opportunity has arisen for a 1.0FTE Urology Nurse Specialist role. This exciting role will involve working with the wider Urology clinical team to support both outpatient and inpatient pathways across all sub-specialties within the Urology service.
The successful candidate will have a strong grounding in the urology specialty and will demonstrate advanced critical thinking, judgement and accountability for their actions and decisions.
They will be self-directed, able to work both autonomously and collaboratively, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail is also an important attribute in this role, as is a passion for teaching patients, whanau and colleagues.
Preferably a post-graduate education at certificate / diploma level should be underway or planned and on-going professional development is required.
