We have an exciting opportunity to join our Institutional Banking team in Auckland as an Associate.Te Kaiurungi About the RoleOur Portfolio, Customer and Insights Team has an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join our Auckland Office.
The main purpose of this role is to deliver high quality and consistent customer support for relationship teams across our Real Estate and Diversified Industries ("REDI") group of clients and across the Portfolio Customer and Insights ("PCI") team more generally.
This role will be the first point of contact for day-to-day requirements from REDI clients. This will involve dealing with all aspects of client requests including dealing with internal processes and other teams within the bank and taking ownership of resolution of these requests.
The role will also undertake internal annual renewals for clients with less complex requirements. More complex credit work will be available for the right candidate that shows an aptitude and willingness for this.
As an Associate within Institutional Banking team, you will be assisting the team to build and maintain an effective business relationships with a portfolio of clients within the Institutional Relationships business.
Assist in the preparation of credit submissionsProvide high quality and consistent customer support for relationship teamsConduct industry analysis to aid individual and team understanding of the external environment.
Be the first point of contact for client requests and take ownership of resolution of theseGain a strong understanding of the various BNZ systems and processes that support client relationship managementActively contribute and support process improvements and implementation of the IB strategyŌ Pūkenga About YouWhile previous experience in Commercial, Corporate or Institutional Banking would be desirable, we are also interested in hearing from you if you have previous experience within a Financial Institution, legal practice or accounting firms.
Strong analysis and critical evaluation skills.Previous experience within Banking or an Institutional teamAbility to handle time-critical tasks with conflicting prioritiesGood written and verbal communication skillsA tertiary qualification is required to be successful in this roleThis role is likely to suit someone with a keen interest in providing client solutions and a strong ability to process client request.
